Please join US Senator Maria Cantwell and FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn for a Town Hall discussion on net neutrality, tomorrow, Friday, July 7th at Town Hall, Seattle

Is your privacy on sale?  Federal regulation now allows internet providers to sell your private information, phone and internet activities to anyone, anywhere in the world for profit.

As a United States citizen and an engineer, shall we protect the safety, security, and privacy for ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, our community, our company and our country?

In 2014, IEEE Seattle Section presented “Mother of Smart Power” award to express our gratitude for Senator Cantwell’s wisdom, leadership and tireless dedication to  Washington State engineers.  Her outstanding effort has generated thousands of engineering jobs, and she was instrumental in fostering laboratories of smart powers. 

Senator Maria Cantwell serves on many United State Senate committees, Including the Finance Committee, Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and its Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, Innovation and the Internet. She is a ranking member, an expert, and now she is leading the effort to fight for our security, safety, and justice that she genuinely cares.
