Presenters: Alexander & Olga Anderson "IEEE Smart Village, the humanitarian outreach program of IEEE and the IEEE Foundation, is inviting volunteers from the Seattle Section to join an initiative to develop and deploy a universal platform for computing, internet connectivity, and energy for off-grid communities. This technology platform will be one of the first demonstrations of the upcoming P2030.10 standard for DC microgrids, and will provide an instantly deployable, portable, modular solution to the needs of remote communities for ICT and energy technology supporting education, health care, capacity building, small business enterprise, and disaster response. Volunteers are eagerly sought who have experience in television white space, 3G/4G signal boosting, satellite communications, reliable computing systems for in-field applications, and community education programs."
