IEEE Seattle YP April Event: Startup Grind in Bellevue

Join IEEE Seattle Young Professionals for the April 12th Startup Grind Event. The Seattle YP has partnered with Startup Grind to provide discounted tickets for IEEE members. The full cost of this event is $17 but IEEE members pay $5 + processing fee using “ieeetix” promo code.
John Wantz is a serial entrepreneur that continues to believe that the future of consumer commerce will be won by distributing the disintermediation between sellers & consumer. John has founded and led three start-ups in Seattle, myaNUMBER, Comr.se Corp, and most currently SHOP, a retail blockchain protocol supporting the value exchanges between Shoppers and Brands. SHOP recently won the award for most innovative retail startup at Shoptalk 2018
John architects conceptual design decisions behind the SHOP’s retail smart contracts, on-chain and off-chain data considerations, and strategies behind tokenized and trustless value exchanges between Brands and Shoppers. Driving long-term research and roadmap strategy, he is passionate about contributing to thought leadership as blockchain adaption grows.
