2009 Student Paper Competition
The Seattle Section Student Paper Competition was held on Saturday, April 4, 2009. There were 7 presentations:
- First Place – Centralized Tracking & Guidance of Multiple Robots by Dean Hoaglan, Joe McMichael and Renaud Chauvin-Martin
- Second Place (tie) – Design of a Human-Powered Generator by Anthony Robbings, Erik Moroles, and Theodora Rupp
- Second Place (tie) – Examining Human Force Control: Adaptation to Deceptive Visual Feedback by Elise Eccles
- Honorable Mention – The Engedi Project by Jon Battershell
- Multi-Motion Test Machine and Compliant Coupling Testing by Chelsea Ryberg, Aacer Daken, and Javier Castegnaro
- Remote Control Bulldozer by Ben Sherman
- Educating The World One Radiobroadcast At A Time by JoHannes Paul and Jon Viducich
The Northwest Area Spring Meeting and Student Paper Contest will be April 18, 2009. The top finisher from each school will advance to the Northwest Area Contest. The first place winner from the NW Area Contest will advance to the Region 6 contest. Follow this link for Guidelines for the contest. The Region 6 contest will use the same guidelines. The Region 6 contest will be scheduled for sometime following the NW Area contest.
